Ryan Beverlin

An acoustic rock duo from Cypress, Tx made up of two fellas who not only share the same first name, but also a love for flannel shirts, big riffs, and good times on stage. We bring the sounds of the '90s and 00's back to life, a bit stripped-down with acoustic guitars, yet still carrying the big alternative rock energy of the eras. With over 18 years of combined experience playing in the Houston music scene, we are no strangers to the stage and we enjoy every minute of performing. 

Our name says it all - "Heavy" reflects the punchy, riff-driven rock of the 2000s and "Flannel" is a nod to the grunge-era flannel-centric fashion and music we grew up with in the 1990's. From Alice In Chains to Days of the New, Foo Fighters to Creed, we blend nostalgia with a laid-back yet high-energy performance.

Whether we're playing your favorite dive bar, brewery patio, or private event, we keep it raw, familiar, and full of personality—just two Ryans and a couple of acoustics, doing what we love.
